2017 rating list revaluation and appeal

Daniel Watney Partnership managed a long-running dispute with the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) regarding the level of assessment applied to the client’s 2017 Rating List entries.

While engaging in extensive negotiations with the Valuation Officer, we also led wider national discussions concerning this specialist use class. The dispute was successfully settled across two adjacent sites, resulting in total business rates liability savings of £880,000 over the period in question.
