Daniel Watney Partnership lodged a business rates appeal on behalf of the a known Royal College, attending tribunal as expert witnesses to seek a reduction in the property’s rateable value.

Using detailed rental data for comparable properties in the area, we successfully argued for an adjusted valuation. The appeal resulted in a reduction of the rateable value by £30,000, delivering total business rates savings of £90,000 over the course of the 2017 rating list.
