Landmark appeal for Mast Quay Phase II

Successfully advised Fincraft Limited (Comer Homes Group) on a planning appeal against an Enforcement Notice requiring demolition of a 204-unit riverside development in Woolwich.

The notice followed the Council’s conclusion that the scheme, comprising two landmark towers of 15 and 23 storeys, had not been built in accordance with its 2012/2015 permissions.

Acting alongside the client’s legal team, we represented the Appellant through a 16-month public inquiry, providing expert planning evidence. In January 2025, the Inspector allowed the appeal under ground (a), granting retrospective planning permission (with alterations) and securing the future of the development.
