Former Porsche garage redevelopment

The former Porsche Garage site on Stratford High Street had stood undeveloped for over a decade, despite an existing planning consent for 270 residential units.

Following the collapse of the incumbent purchaser’s contract due to inflationary pressures, Daniel Watney Partnership introduced a new buyer and negotiated revised terms. Recognising the site’s potential, we identified an opportunity to increase massing and pursued a fresh planning application.

Contracts were exchanged in April 2023 on a subject-to-planning basis, and in Q1 2025 consent was secured for 355 privately rented and affordable units, unlocking the site’s long-stalled development potential.
