A recent key project involved the acquisition of circa 45,000 sq. ft in Birmingham to establish a new university campus. This project included rationalising the lease structure of the existing campus, managing dilapidations and exit strategies, and providing detailed business rates advice for both premises. By taking a strategic approach to acquisitions and disposals, we helped QA Higher Education optimise their property portfolio to support the delivery of world-class education.

In addition, we advised on the lease renewal and acquisition of circa 45,000 sq. ft at 110/114 Middlesex Street, E1, in a recently repositioned modern office and retail building. The redevelopment transformed the space into a vibrant, contemporary environment, with refurbished office accommodation, upgraded building services, high-quality finishes, enhanced reception areas, refurbished WCs, end-of-trip facilities, and new retail units. Our advice included business rates and lease structuring to ensure the space supported their long-term strategic objectives.
