Watford Riverwell 70 acre regeneration programme

Achieved planning permission for Phase 2 of The Avenues – a key element of a 70-acre regeneration programme in West Watford.

This phase will deliver 110 high-quality new homes, designed with a mix of tenures to create a balanced and inclusive community. The scheme also incorporates a new hotel and flexible retail floorspace to drive economic activity, create local jobs, and enhance the vibrancy of the neighbourhood. Carefully integrated with the Phase 1 works, Phase 2 benefits from improved pedestrian and cycle connections, landscaped public spaces, and strong links to nearby transport hubs. The project forms part of a long-term vision to transform a former industrial site into a thriving, mixed-use destination that supports local needs while attracting inward investment to West Watford.
