Daniel Watney announces two new partners amongst other promotions

Daniel Watney is pleased to announce and congratulate the following employees on their recent promotions, which recognise their hard work. Matt Roper and Charlotte Yarker are promoted to Partner, and Laura Thorne to Senior Associate Partner. Charlotte Butt, James Child and George Wilson will now take the position of Associate Partner.

Matthew Roper, who joined Daniel Watney in 2016 is Promoted to Salaried Partner. Matt, a Chartered Surveyor, specialises in Lease Advisory matters focusing on the Central London office markets, and the industrial sector across the South East of England. He acts for a combination of Landlord and Tenant clients. Matt will continue to work and develop this area of the business.

Charlotte Yarker is promoted to Salaried Partner having joined Daniel Watney in 2019. Charlotte has 15 years of private sector experience in planning development consultancy in relation to major development sites in London and the South East. She is an expert in development proposals, including strategic residential development, new educational/research facilities, alterations, and refurbishments of listed buildings. Charlotte continues to build existing relationships with clients and develop our offering further.

Within the residential side of the business, Laura Thorne MRICS is now a Senior Associate Partner. Laura heads up the residential AST management team. George Wilson MRICS is promoted to an Associated Partner. His specialism is Business Rates. James Child, part of Building Consultancy is also made Associate Partner. And Charlotte Butt (Assoc CIPD) the HR Lead is promoted to Associate Partner of the growing firm.
