About me
Alasdair is a Partner in the Planning and Development team at Daniel Watney, where he advises clients on all aspects of the planning process. He joined Daniel Watney in June 2026 following 11 years in planning consultancy, most recently as a Director at DP9 Limited, where he grew over seven years having joined as a Senior Planner in April 2019. Alasdair is a chartered Town Planner (MRTPI).
Alasdair has extensive experience of advising on some of London’s highest profile recent development projects, spanning a range of uses including commercial, residential, hotels, co-living, student accommodation and cultural uses. This experience encompasses several large-scale tall building developments, major regeneration projects, and prominent heritage assets, across a number of Central and Inner London Boroughs and the City of London.
Alasdair approaches the planning process with a strategic and commercially minded outlook and drives forward each project to retain positive momentum. Alasdair takes a long-term view of the planning process, seeking planning permissions that build in flexibility and adaptability.
