Two staff fundraise and complete the London Marathon

William Easterfield and Lewis Davenport both ran the London Marathon on Sunday.

William Easterfield conquered the marathon in an incredible time of 3:36:11, all in aid of a fantastic cause, the Patternmakers Charitable Foundation. The Patternmakers Charitable Foundation supplies vital orthopaedic shoes for service men and women receiving treatment at the new Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre in Loughborough. These specially designed shoes play a crucial role in not only aiding mobility but also boosting confidence for those who have been injured while serving our country. William said that 'the atmosphere and support from the crowd made the day amazing'. The highlight of the course for him was Tower Bridge, where the crowd was incredible and really helped push him along.

Lewis Davenport ran the marathon in just over 4 hours and ran for the Brain and Spine Foundation. The Brain & Spine Foundation is the only UK-wide charity providing information and support for every one of the 600+ neurological conditions which affect one in six people in the UK. They provide free, professional help, information and support for any condition, and for anyone affected.

Daniel Watney are incredibly proud of both William Easterfield and Lewis Davenport for their achievements and fundraising efforts for these two worthwhile charities.
