Planning permission for 180,000sq ft in Brentford
We are delighted to have worked with LGIM as planning consultant, in securing planning permission for the redevelopment of 3.5 acres at the front of the West Cross Industrial Estate in Brentford for 180,000sqft of new industrial space.
It will be amongst the first regeneration schemes within the Great West Corridor to be delivered and represents a £30 million investment by our client. It will intensify this part of their West Cross estate by providing well over double the amount of industrial floorspace, through a heritage-led design by Chetwoods which reinstates the site’s art deco identity. It will achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating, up to 70% carbon reduction over Part L, materials will be re-used from the existing site where possible and it will be built to a sustainable, local procurement plan.
