The role
We are looking to recruit a motivated Junior Property Manager to join our residential management team. The Junior Property Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of privately rented properties across London.
The Junior Property Manager will play a key role in supporting the property managers, ensuring efficient operations, tenant satisfaction, and compliance of our residential assets while delivering excellent service to both landlords and tenants.

You are a confident and organised property professional with experience in managing PRS residential property and a thorough understanding of current and upcoming legislative requirements in the sector. You will have excellent attention to detail, and a proactive mindset when it comes to maintenance, compliance, and tenant relations. Your communication is clear and professional, and you take pride in delivering a high standard of service across your portfolio.
Key Responsibilites:
Portfolio Management
- Coordinate and oversee property maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments, working closely with contractors and service providers.
- Manage the full tenancy lifecycle for AST properties – from move-in to move-out.
- Act as a point of contact for tenant queries, support with dispute resolution, and ensure high customer service standards.
- Conduct regular property inspections and report findings.
- Review check-out reports and negotiate deposit deductions with tenants.
- Build strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and continued business growth.
Rent Collection & Arrears
- Monitor rent payments and pursue arrears in line with company policy.
- Liaise with tenants and guarantors to resolve payment issues.
Compliance & Legal
- Ensure all properties comply with current legislation (e.g. gas safety, EICRs, EPCs, licensing requirements).
- Keep up to date with changes in housing laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and legal purposes.
System & Administration
- Maintain up-to-date records using property management software (e.g.PropMan, Dwellant or similar).
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum 1 years’ experience in residential property management.
- Strong understanding of legislative requirements in the UK housing market.
- ARLA Propertymark Level 3 qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Ability to multitask and manage workload efficiently.
- Experience managing rental income and arrears processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with tenants and service providers effectively.
- Knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office suite.
