Simon is consultant to the Daniel Watney Professional Team. He has over twenty five years professional experience, specialising in dilapidations and service charge disputes.

He is a graduate in Land Administration, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Member of ARBRIX, the association of surveyors appointed by the President of the RICS to the property dispute panels.

Following 12 years as Real Estate Manager at two FTSE 100 companies, Simon worked at GVA Grimley and Drivers Jonas including work as an Expert Witness in High Court cases.

He was appointed by the President of the RICS to be one of the ten founding members of the panel of independent experts and mediators for resolving service charge disputes and is co-author of the textbook Dilapidations and Service Charge Disputes - A Practical Guide, published by Estates Gazette Books in 2008 and is a contributor to the RICS's website isurv.com on litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution procedures. He has had over 30 articles published in Property Week and Estates Gazette in the last five years.
