John joined Daniel Watney as Senior Associate Partner in the Business Rates Team.  John has been dealing with all aspects of Rating practice throughout the UK since 1980, firstly with King Sturge and more recently with Matthews and Goodman.

He obtained a degree in Estate Management from Oxford Polytechnic; now Oxford Brookes University, is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered  Surveyors and is a member of the Institute of Revenues, Rating and Valuation.

John is an active member of the Rating Surveyors' Association and is a Past President of the Association.
